Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
Bring: Something to pick up the poop.

Please join us for Belvidere Victorian Days! We will M&G from 10:00 to 3:00 (actual event runs 9-6)
Join us for a fun day and help spread the word about our gorgeous greys. This is a pretty relaxed day for you and your dog(s).
We use Nancy’s small front yard and porch at 623 Oxford Street as “home base” and take turns strolling around the green (no dogs allowed ON the green itself).
There’s a terrific antique and vintage car show around the perimeter and no auto traffic to deal with. People in Victorian and Edwardian attire crafts, food, bands, etc.
We can take turns “dog watching” each other’s dogs so everyone gets a chance to check out the vendors on the green. Dogs that don’t do well in crowds can meet & greet at the house as people walk past on their way to the green.
We have an assortment of replica Victorian hats for the dogs who will wear them and a shady fenced back yard for off-leash time for your dogs (and you!)
Plenty of great food available on the green, cold drinks/coffee/snacks my pleasure to provide at the house. SUPER EASY to find, hope you can come!

GFNJ has been invited to participate in Living Pawsitively's Wellness Day. (They are a pet health food store.) This is an outdoor M&G. We'll have our tent to shade the dogs. Please bring a chair to sit on.
If you'd like to have a beautiful day in the country, they are down the road from Olde Lafayette Village which is touted as "NJ's dog friendliest place to shop". It has the usual outlet stores and plenty of pet related and pet friendly places to shop. There is also a Farmer's Market there every Sunday.

Sunday October6, 2013 in beautiful Warwick, NY.....Join us for a mega meet and greet! For over 10 years GFNJ has had a booth at Applefest. We have raised funds but most importantly have adopted out many dogs as a direct result of this event.
The past 3 years we have adopted out a dog within a week.
This event draws 35,000 people so we really need volunteers and we need to schedule folks so the people who have to drive the furthest come the earliest.
We have a booth and an
entire corner with grass and shade for the dogs - bring your
blanket,chairs and comfy shoes - we have water and treats!
We need volunteers to cover all hours and so everyone gets to enjoy our Greys.

Calling All Passaic and Bergen County Greyhounds for the weekly Sunday Greyhound Walk.
Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
Bring: Something to pick up the poop.
Place: Van Saun Park Paramus. Parking Lot #5 (The Pony Rides)
Time: 9 am Sundays.
