Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;

those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,

just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing;

they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.

His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers.

Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet,

you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head,

and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Dugan

In memory of our beloved Dugan.

We adopted Dugan in November 2002 and had him for 4 wonderful years. He was a beautiful 6 1/2 year old (June 2000 - January 2007) brindle boy. We lost him to a tragic accident and miss him dearly every day. He brought so much joy and love to our family that the emptiness is unbearable at times. There were so many special things about you Dugan that we were blessed to have you in our lives. Will will miss you always but never forget you and some day we all will meet again.

Love, Mommy, Daddy, Kelsey & Jake

Theo

Last night you left us. Now you’re with Zoe and Mom. Running hard, gums back, ears flat. Take as long as you want to smell the leaves. High-step in the snow without getting cold. We never knew how perfect you’d be. First we brought home one baby, then another. You never blinked. Happily we traded the sidewalks for the open spaces. You’d greet everyone with boundless enthusiasm, a smile and a shiver, Then flop down in the middle of whatever room everyone was in. Just to be near us. You will always be my “Mr. Good Dog” We love you.

Mac Ganopoulos-Phelan

In loving memory of Mac - born January 7, 1998 - left us on November 24, 2006

We were fortunate enough to have Mac in our family for the last 8 months of his life. We would have given the world to have had more time together. Mac was an "Alabama Dog", rescued from neglect and taken in by Greyhound Friends along with two others. Despite the situation he came from he was the kindest and gentlest creature we have ever known. He will always be very loved and terribly missed.

Gina Catena

Our beautiful Gina (formerly Nitro Frizzy) was taken from us suddenly on September 20, 2006. Her 5 1/2 years with us were dedicated to bringing us love, pleasure, and many, many laughs. She trusted us implicitly and we loved her deeply. She is and always will be loved and missed. Loretta, Joe, and "brother" Doc (aka Dr. Strangeluv).

Wilson

"Wilson" 2000-2006

Even though we were blessed to have Wilson in our home for only nine months, he touched our lives and hearts. His spirit will live with us in his "forever" home.

Jim, MaryAnn, and Justin Simmons
