What a handsome boy--Fuzzy's Rebel. He is a nice boy who was just slightly timid and was placed into foster home to gain that little bit of confidence and reassurance. He is very sweet and seemed enthralled by all of the new sights and sounds--he has a whole new life ahead of him and we are happy to have him in our Greyhound Family. This boy is 3 years old and is cat tolerant with supervision.
FOSTER UPDATE 10/23/2008
Rebel is a gentle, tall and lanky gorgeous gorgeous boy with very shiny fur and beautiful face. Although he was a bit shy at first, with love and attention, this boy is blossoming into a sweet and loving dog. He is a real looker and turns head when he goes for a walk.
We are fostering Rebel along with Swift One. After seeing Swift go up and down the stairs so effortlessly, he followed and also went up and down the stairs without hesitation. Rebel gets along very nicely with our other dogs and likes being a member of the pack.
Rebel was housebroken after two days; a testament to how smart he is. After his initial meeting with the cats and being chased down the hallway, he is very respectful of them and keeps his distance. Rebel loves to go for walks, but he tends to wander on the leash. We are working with him, however, to overcome this and by the time he goes to his forever home, we hope he will walk on the leash like the perfect gentleman that he is.
