Lazy K Delux is a stunning girl with a personality to go with it. She is very friendly, happy and very interactive and looks to the people around her for direction. She likes to be cuddled and gives kisses in return. She also walks nicely on leash. Delux will turn 2 in February and she is cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update 2/9/16:
Lazy K Delux has settled into house life and is ready to take on the world. She is
friendly, loves everyone she meets, is outgoing and confident but not dominant
or overbearing.
Delux learned the stairs within 24 hours of arrival and now goes up and down just for the fun of it. She enjoys her toys and bones but lets me take them without
protest. The world is her toybox - she is interested in everything and
occasionally picks up things that aren’t hers, but drops them when reminded.
She is unperturbed by unusual noises - follows me around when I vacuum like she wants to help! She takes direction well, understands her place in the
household, and is fine with our cat. Although she’s very food-motivated (which
makes her easy to train), she doesn’t counter-surf.
Delux can be quite playful and energetic, a bit jumpy on occasion so she might do best in a family without small children. But like a typical greyhound, she naps a lot, crates well and, although she’d prefer to be with her people 24/7, adjusts
to alone time without complaint. Then when you come home, she is SO glad to see you that it warms your heart! Delux is a beautiful girl, both inside and out,
ready to shower you with love, share fun times, and be your new best
friend.
