M's Free Business whose call name is "Billy" is one happy and gorgeous/handsome boy. He is very friendly and buries his head into your lap or legs. His tail wags nicely--he is one of those "mooshie" boys that we love. He seems like he is everyone's friend, to include our Emma, the cat.  He is cat tolerant with supervision. This boy is a sibling to Free Dara and Free Hopper. He turned 2 years old in August.  He was described by the kennel folks in Florida as "super sweet"--we totally agree.
Foster Update 9/15/2015
Billy is one joyous greyhound!  Racing name MS Free Business, Billy is young (born 8/28/2013) and loves life.  He’s a beautiful black hound with a coat that shines and feels like fine silk. He loves to play with toys and to do laps in our fenced yard. Since retiring and coming to live in his foster home, Billy has acclimated quickly:

-        Gets along with our kids (ages 10 and 14).

-        Ignores the cats.

-        Does well with our two greyhounds and another foster greyhound in the home.

-        As of this writing, he’s just about mastered the stairs; he walks well on our wood/tile/laminate flooring.

-        Excellent leash walker.

-        Enjoys riding in the car.

-        Fully house trained; no accidents in the house.

-        Does well in a crate while we are at work/school.

-        Sleeps through the night on a dog bed next to our bed.

-        Eats well.

-        Has shown no food or space aggression.

His favorite pastime?  Giving greyhound hugs–he’s a really body leaner!

Billy has learned our busy routine and fell right into his place in the “pack.” He’s learning that counter surfing and slipper stealing are frowned upon. Fortunately, he learns quickly and is easily corrected and redirected (e.g., learning dog toys are for him, slippers are not).

He’s a very loving, confident greyhound without being an alpha. He seeks out guidance, either from the people or resident hounds in our home. Billy is a very happy dog.  He will bring to his adopter the spirit of his optimistic zeal–one can’t help but smile when Billy enters the room. His ideal adopter will welcome and channel Billy’s energy (when he’s not getting in his 18 hours of sleep each day, that is) with toys and walks. In return, Billy will bring boundless, unquestioning love. He’s a wonderful boy.
