About Officer Jane

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Color: Brindle

Officer Jane is a pretty little girl.  She needs a little encouragement at first but quickly becomes at ease and walks nicely.  She's a happy girl but again a little insecure at first and then easily blossoms into a happy, playful girl.  She's friendly and looking for direction.  She has some healed scars on her left side but they just add to her uniqueness.  All the volunteers thought she was great.  Officer Jane is 2 years old and cat workable to tolerant in that she could easily be directed away from the cat and did not return.
Foster Update 3/18/2015

Officer Jane is shy no more.  She’s got an outgoing personality.  She’s very playful, and would probably do well in a home with children of any age.  She is being fostered in a home with another greyhound and a cat.  She’s good on a leash (although she gets excited when seeing other dogs or deer), sleeps through the night without a problem, and will greet you with love and enthusiasm.  She loves to be scratched behind the ear or given a belly rub.  She does like to lie on sofas, so I would recommend a home where that is not a problem.   She does have a little more energy then most greyhounds, so a fenced in yard would be good, but certainly not a requirement.
