About Lexi

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Color: Brindle

Lexi was recently relinquished due to life-changing circumstances with the adopter. The adopter reported that Lexi is very people friendly, travels well, low maintenance and good with kids and cats. Lexi is 8 years old.  She is in a great foster home and they had the following to say about Lexi:  "What can I say about Lexi? She is a perfect little lady. She is gentle and relaxed- even starting to come to us for affection. She is a good little walker, although she goes out of her way to avoid other breeds walking at us. She is, however, very comfortable in a grey pack and enjoys walking in a group.

Lexi is a dainty eater who really takes her time with her meals. She gently takes treats by hand.

She is a perfect angel in the car, even with Harvey (our greyhound) standing over her!

Lexi is beautiful and laid back, happy and comfortable being a part of a family unit!"

DJ Laughoutloud whose call name is "Alexis" is an adorable girl.  She's calm, curious but easily corrected and happy to please.  She is not at all pushy and walks great on leash.  This cute girl is 3 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update 4/2/2014

Laughoutloud "Alexis" is now being called "Lexi" in our foster home. Besides being absolutely beautiful, gentle and very-very sweet, she is a real lady.  Lexi is very eager to please and can be
re-directed easily.  Lexi is so- so funny when it comes to strange sounds. When she hears the washing machine, dryer or even  my blow dryer, Lexi gives me a look with those beautiful brown eyes like..."OMG" what in the world is that???? I never heard that at the track!!!!"  Too funny.

Lexi is  housebroken and waits patiently for her meals (which she enjoys).  Lexi gets along well with our male grey, "Colby" and our cat (who Lexi completely ignors).  Lexi is not pushy and warms up quickly and is better everyday.  Lexi responds well to her name and sleeps through the night in our bedroom without a peep. She does her business outside and then enjoys a good romp in the yard. Lexi learns quickly and will make a great addition to any family. Now that Lexi  has been in our loving home won't you take her to yours???

Lexi has warmed ours hearts and she will certainly warm yours!!!!!!
