Bart was recently returned as he did not play well over a toy with the other greyhound in the home. Since being here he has been so good - no issues with the other dogs, no accidents, no trouble at all. I think Bart handles life best when he has some structure and limits - he needs to know what the rules are, and once he does, he willingly follows them. Bart does like to play with toys - he will gather them on one bed or go in the crate to chew on a nylabone. He has not reacted when other dogs have played with toys near him, but these sessions are always supervised. Bart listens well, comes when called, and is a good eater. He likes attention from people but is not pushy and will often lie in the open crate napping. Bart is a very handsome boy - his coat is filling in and he is gaining some weight. Bart likes people but does not do well with cat.s He is 5 years old.

Barts Psych Out has a crazy name but he is one nice, nice boy. He is not only stunning but he's calm and sweet. He's friendly and leans up against whomever is next to him. One volunteer described him as an "observer" who likes to look at everything and take it all in. He's a nice size and not imposing--did I mention that he gives kisses!!
"Psycho" which is his call name was in a foster home in Florida for a short period of time. His foster parents could not rave enough about Psycho. They reported: "His behavior in our home has been excellent. He is quite confident and very friendly. He is very loving--loves petting and attention. He gets along perfectly with our greyhounds, and with both adults and children he meets on his walks. On those occasions, he is friendly but not wild. He is extremely quiet and very clean. He loves playing with toys. he does have one little flaw--he steals, as so many greys do. Fuzzy slippers are a favorite, but he is very inquisitive, and will take almost anything to his crate for inspection. We will really miss Psycho! The family who adopts him will be very lucky indeed."
