KB's Acosta is a very handsome boy. He's firendly, calm and walks nicely on leash. He loved the attention that he received along with his spa bath. He's a nice sized boy--not real small but not real big. He was very attentive to all of the volunteers and we all enjoyed his winning personality. Acosta is 3 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.

Acosta is a beautiful, 3 year old Greyhound with an enthusiastic and happy spirit. His perfect fawn coat shimmers with a hints of gold and his large, brown eyes express a soul that is joyous and giving. This boy is full of love and he instantly brightens anyone he comes into contact with. Acosta is a tail-wagger who seeks out cuddles. He eats well and has had no accidents in the house. He comes when called and is in his element when romping in the yard with our two Greyhounds - he takes full advantage of the fenced yard and their companionship. When we are at work/school, Acosta is crated - he's done well in his crate. Acosta has mastered the stairs and sleeps soundly in a dog bed next to our bed.
Acosta is being fostered in a home with cats; he requires supervision when with them. Acosta does respond when verbally redirected from the cats, but it is not recommended that he be left unsupervised with cats or other small animals.
Acosta's foster home also includes two children, ages 8 and 12. A playful spirit, he does well with "dog-trained" children. If adopted into a home with children, it is recommended that they be big enough to enjoy Acosta's playfulness.
Acosta is confident and curious. At the same time, he craves the company of others. He will do well in a home with another Greyhound or other breed that is similar to him in size. This boy has a lot to give and wants to have someone to share his time with.
Truly, Acosta is a gorgeous boy who embraces life. He has a warm, endearing nature that immediately touches those who meet him. The home that adopts him will be adding a family member that will give a lifetime of smiles, cheer and love.
