Side Tracker whose call name is "Tracker" got side-tracked while racing.  He sustained a broken leg that was repaired in Florida but had a complication.  GFNJ welcomed Tracker and Dr. Ross evaluated the leg and recommened that the leg needed further surgery to straighten and stabilize it.  The surgery has been done and he is recuperating in our Prison Foster Program and is the hit of the men and staff.

Tracker is a beautiful boy who is sweet, friendly and a real people dog.  He's 5 years old and although he loves people, no cats, please.

"Many dogs are very hyper and jumpy but not so with this greyhound.  Tracker, although currently injured is a dog that is intelligent, calm, cool and collected.  You tell him to sit, and he will sit.  You take him out for a walk and there is such joy that radiates from him that doesn't show in most dogs.  At the same time he is not out-of-control and running all over the place.  If you are looking for a greyhound that will cause you no problems, Tracker should be on the top of your list.  He is a dog that is already trained and one that is truly affectionate and loving in a  way that words cannot describe.  Trackershould belone to a priviledged dog owner that truly will have no regrets adopting this dog."
