Jedi Swahili is a cute, or should I say handsome, little boy at only 58 pounds. He's very sweet, friendly, calm, and has an adorable face. He walks nicely on leash and is just a really nice, nice boy who deserves a great family. He's a sibling to Jedi Shaka and Jedi Spearman. He'll be 2 years old in April and is cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update 3/24/2013
At only 58 lbs, Jedi Swahili is everything you could hope for in a big
lovable boy, except in a little peanut of a dog with goofy floppy
ears. Jedi Swahili is a complete snuggle bunny who wants nothing more
to be next to you or near you and will curl right up on you if you let
him. Seems he always has to have his head or other body part always
touching you. He will also give you kisses very gently and happily
when he sees you. Because he will be two at the end of April, he still
has some "puppy" in him, but it only adds to his cuteness. He loves my
dogs and enjoys going on walks with them. He is also just learning how
to play with toys. He has a playful streak and will throw one up in
the air once in a while, but then he doesn't know what to do with it
afterwards. He is interested just slightly in the cats only if they
run by, but otherwise couldn't care less about them. I just redirect
his attention off the cats. Sometimes the cats go right up to him and
they sniff him and he barely raises his head.
. He does well with the stairs into the house and is getting the hang of asking to go outside.
Jedi Swahili has the softest fur I have ever felt on a greyhound. It's so amazingly soft I can onlycompare it to "rabbit fur". This married with the fact that he has abeautiful red brindle coat is quite the combination. He also has gorgeous expressive brown eyes and a white patch on his chest. Andwith black brindling only over his right eye, makes for a very handsome boy. People are floored with his striking good looks.
He is just starting to master the classic roach positions and sometimes sleeps with his tongue out and smiling. Sometimes he even lets out a little sigh and he makes a "pppfff" sound out the sides of his mouth. Always good for a chuckle
. Jedi Swahili's two brothers, Jedi Spearman and Jedi Shaka, are also up for adoption. He is settling in to home life very well and I believe it would be the perfect time to transition into his forever home.
