JW's Jimmy Girl whose call name is "Jimmy"" spent the entire Fall 2012 academic semester as a cherished friend and valued "teaching animal" at Becker College in Leicester, Massachusetts in their Animal Studies program. More information about this new partnership with Becker will be added to our website. The students report: "Jimmy Girl is quite a striking beauty - her tiger-like face and bold physique definitely make her stand out in a crowd! But it is her sweet and social nature that really pulls at your heartstrings. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious, but she isn't one to ask for more than she thinks she needs. She is generally content with the simple things and can often be found stretched out on her bed in the most uncomfortable-looking positions, snoozing without a care in the world. When she wakes up, she wakes up all the way and takes on new adventures with gusto! Jimmy is one smart cookie - it's tough to put anything past her because she rarely misses a thing and she's very quick and eager to learn. Jimmy has a sense of maturity about her, which makes her a little less than tolerant toward pushy puppies, but she enjoys the company of other "grown-up" greys that don't push her buttons. Jimmy should settle into a home nicely, especially if she has plenty of opportunities for physical exercise, restful sleep and devoted affection from her human family."
Jimmy is a beautiful, big girl who is enthusiastic but calms down easily. She's 2 years old and cat workable in that she could be directed away from the cat.
