Lee Update- Dec 12, 2012
Lee Laural has been returned after 5 months through no fault of her on. Her owner is unfortunately dealing with a sudden and lenghty Illness. Lee was very loved in her former home and called a "wonderful, wonderful dog." Being Lee's previous foster Mom, I of course gladly welcomed Lee back into my home.
Lee's personality is still very similar to the original one I posted below from June 2012. She is doing very well and a wonderful walker on leash. I can walk all 3 and she fits right in.
She is a HUGE leaner and it's a wonder how she doesn't loose her balance when "leaning" Lee is excellent with my 3 female cats! She does not chase, sniff or growl at them. She is so beautiful. What a great GAL!

Lee Laurel is a pretty little girl who arrived recently from Florida. She's in a foster home and adjusting to retirement very nicely. She just turned 2 years old in May and is cat tolerant.
Foster Update 6/5/2012:
This cute little girl warms to new things pretty quickly and likes to give you kisses. Lee turned 2 in May. New in my town home for 6 days, She currently shares her home with one adult, 3 cats and 3 other greyhounds. She is great with dogs and cats.
Inside- Lee is very playful with her squeaky toys and gentle enough to take treats from my hand and I can lay with her on her bed and cuddle. She likes my other greyhounds and would share their beds if she could. Lee sleeps with us in the bedroom at night (on her dog bed)and holds it for 8 hours without a peep. I’m working on her in the crate a little so she can get used to being alone without me around. She’s doing well. Outside- Lee walks great in the neighborhood. (suburbs) Trucks, thunderstorms, loud noises, scooters, bikes,no problem! She doesn’t really like walking in the rain though… Can you blame her? She enjoys meeting the kids outside playing . We don’t have a fenced yard but I bet she would have a blast with one. She loves the squirrels! Lee is kind, yet curious meeting all the other dogs (big and small) we encounter on our daily walks. Lee would do best with another dog if you work full time and enough space in your house so she can run and play with her toys. Like taking your dog places? (She travels like a dream) Do you have kids perhaps? If so, she may be your gal!
