TX's Freedom was relinquished in Florida as the family was moving and unable to have dogs. Freedom was in a foster home in Florida and described by her foster mom as: "Freedom is a really affectionate girl! She greet me very enthusiasticaly whenever I come in the door (whether I have been gone at work all day, or just taking out the trash) She wags all over. She is very obedient and obeys all the house rules. She is fine with the resident cat. Freedom will talk to me excitedly when she is ready to go for a walk. She barks and makes a "oooh wow" sound while bowing and wagging her tail. what a lovely girl she is!"
We totally agree with the foster--Freedom is a sweetie-pie. She's cat tolerant. She just turned 8 in January.
Won't you give this lovely lady a forever home. Because she is considered a "senior", her adoption fee is reduced.
Foster Update 3/15/2012
This sweet, affectionate girl has transitioned beautifully into her new foster home. She has the best house manners ever! She goes outside to potty and has no problems using the steps off the deck; doesn't get on the furniture, doesn't counter surf, is quiet, walks well on a lead, eats well and sleeps even better. She always has a very happy tail and is so happy to greet us, even if we just were taking out the trash! She is getting along wonderfully with the small dogs in the house. She is very laid back and is okay with being last in line when we hand out bedtime "cookies". Her first couple of days here she tried to lay in one of the little dogs' beds that only fit about 1/10th of her body. Her foster Dad felt so sorry for her he ordered her a big fancy dog bed. She says all she needs now is a remote control to adjust her sleep number and she will be all set! This sweet, happy girl would fit easily into any home. She has lots of love to give and she definitely brings lots of happiness.
