Adoption Pending
Easi Doug was recently relinquished as he just didn't fit into the family and vice versa. He was described as a sweet fellow with a good personality and is usually quite well behaved and a good boy. Doug is in our Prison Foster Program now and doing very well with his training and has acclimated nicely.
Prison Foster Update 10/5/2012:
Easi Doug is in the Prison Foster Program and the following was written by his inmate caretaker:
"Dougy is a very loving, playful and energetic 4 year old brindle boy. He is such a unique character and is so unlike our toher dogs here. He loves to burrow into your lap and get scratched behind the ears. He is extremely well behaved and although he loves to play around he knows when to shut it off and settle down. There isn't a bad thing to be said about dougy. He'll mak a great addition to any willing family. Please consider adopting Dougy."

Easi Doug is another one of those tall, dark and handsome boys that we have come to love. He's not only striking in appearance, his personality is very nice. He's calm and friendly and interacts but not in a pushy way. Doug is 2 years old and although cat workable would do best without a cat.
Additional Notes:
I was so fortunate to be given the opportunity to transport Tasha and Doug from the kennel to the prison. It's so exciting for both of them as they begin "learning to be a pet" from their inmate handlers. What wonderful dogs these two are! Tasha is a little peanut, so cute and adorable. She has an endearing personality and was curious about her travel experience. She looked out the window, taking in the sights, and asked for pets from my husband who was driving the car! And Doug...what can I say about this handsome gentleman? He is so striking and regal. Jumped in the car, found a nice comfy spot to rest, and slept the whole ride. Such a joy! My wish is for both of these greys to find a "Home for the Holidays". They certainly deserve it. Maybe you can provide the family they both need. Sure hope so!!!
