BIG PERSONALITY

About Paint

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Color: White and Black

Paint is a spirited young man who was recently relinquished as the fit between Paint and his former adopters just was not good although they loved him and struggled with relinquishing him.  He gets anxious when left alone but is fine in the company of another grey(or 2 in the case of his foster home). He was my foster a year ago and has resettled in nicely. He loves to play with his toys or chew the nyla bone and walks very well on the leash. He can be quite the "talker" at times, especially when it is close to mealtime. Paint really loves attention and rubs against us to get it, he also listens well when we tell him to settle down for the night. He would be a greyt addition to any home.  He's 3 years old and living with a cat in his foster home.

Original Posting_____________________________________________________

Paint is a very handsome boy with a big personality--he's very friendly, outgoing, sweet, playful and a real leaner. He's just a nice, nice boy who wants TLC.  He's cat tolerant and tested small dog tolerant in Fl.  He's 2 years old.

Foster Update 11/2011:

Paint is such a sweet, playful boy, sometimes you forget he is a greyhound. He is just over 2 years and lives with 2 cats and my other greys. He was a hit at the M&G we took him to the other week, just loved everyone he met, especially the kids. He has learned to settle down when the other dogs do, but loves to play with his stuffies all by himself, tossing them in the air and chasing them around the room. He is house-trained, walks nicely on the leash and has no problems with the steps. He may be a bit too active for little children, but he would love a family to play with and would be good with kids older children.
