Big Buddy Bob is one handsome and big boy--for those of you who love the big boys!! He is calm and very friendly. He walks nicely on leash. This sweet boy is 4 years old ad although he likes people, he is not good with cats. According to the folks in Florida he is small dog tolerant.
Foster Update 3/22/11
Big Buddy Bob is a powerful racing name. Although Bob is a big boy he has a gentle soul and demeanor. He is not pushy at all andhas the softest fur like a Teddy Bear.
Bob lives with 2 Adults, other greyhounds and 2 parrots and heis respectful of the other greys space.
Bob is settling in nicely and mastered the stairs in just a day. He likes to play with toys and run around in my fenced in yard. He is not overly playful for his size. He is a strong boy who walks well on a lead.
When he wants a pet or two he will come to you and look up at you with those beautiful brown eyes. Bob does well in his crate when I am out running errands. He has not gotten into anything or had any accidents. He will let you know when he needs to handle his business.
He will sleep in our room on a dog bed or in his crate with the door open the entire night.
He is easy to redirect if needed. Although I have not had to do that much. He is a very confident boy.
Spring has arrived and summer is around the corner. Bob would make a great addition to your family as a first greyhound, second or third or especially for those that like Big Boys.
Foster Update 6-3-11
Big Buddy Bob is doing very well in our home. He has had no accidents and is also crate trained. Although Bob is a tall boy, he is as gentle as can be. He is a gentleman to the girl greyhounds and loves the company of my male greyhound.
He loves to engage in play with my other greys as well as myself. Because he is tall when he plays he looks so darn cute.
He just looks as cute as can be when he is being silly.
Bob has a very gentle soul and will come up to me and rub his face against me leg when he wants some extra TLC. Bob loves people and turns heads wherever we go.
He is able to be left in or out of his crate when I am out. Bob is a very good listener and will follow the boundaries you give him.
