Adoption Pending

Cukes is such a sweet boy--we all thought that he is great.  He is such a handsome boy with a very adorable face and a personality to match. He is slightly timid at first but warms us easily and enjoyed the TLC that he was getting from the volunteers. He is from the Ebro, Florida track and we are happy to have him in our Family.

Cukes is 2 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.

Foster Update:

Cukes, who I affectionately call Snaggle Tooth for his unmistakable grin
is a beautiful boy who is learning to trust quickly.  He is playful and
when he gets to know you is very affectionate.  He loves to play outside and
is respectful of my 13 year old Grey.  He needs a bit more confidence and
another Greyhound to play with.  He follows whatever my Grey does which
helped with getting him to take treats from my hand, and learn stairs.  He
is still learning all the sites and sounds of this new world.  He loves
stuffy toys and collects them.  He easily walks up to calm people
especially if they smell like another dog!!  Right now he is sleeping on a
pillow next to my Grey - roaching with a big grin on his face!

Foster Update 1/1/2011

This boy is so affectionate and playful.  He loves squeaky toys and lays his head on your chest for extra special petting.  He has come to love jumping around in the snow and even  laid himself down to cool off after he tired himself out!  Once he is comfortable he takes to people and begs for attention.  He also has a voice – makes all sorts of sounds when he wants something and lets you know when he needs to go out.  He makes me laugh all day long with his big smile – playfulness and goofy puppy things he does.  What a great boy he is!
