GS Josh is a very handsome brindle boy who has a few stripes. He has a very handsome face that is endearing. He was described by the folks in Florida as "mellow, calm and a really nice boy." He walks nicely on leash. He has a completely healed surgically repaired broken leg. He is 3 years old. Cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update. Aug 20, 2010-
GS Josh has been in my town home for almost two weeks now and I can't say enough good things about this sweet, gentle, calm beautiful boy. Josh shares his space with 2 adults, 2 other greyhounds(one male, one female) and 3 female cats. He gets along beautifully with all of us! I have even witnessed him curling up with my other female greyhound on the same dog bed. It was too cute!!
Outside- Josh walks amazing on the leash in the neighborhood. He was pretty social at the greyhound meet and greet and everyone fell in love with him. He rides in the car well and tolerates the kids and other dogs in the neighborhood and park.
Inside- He just LOVES to be with us. No accidents in the house and goes up and down the stairs like a champ. He carries his stuffies one by one from the
toy box to his dog bed. It's very funny to watch! To date, Josh has shown no sign of food or "his space" aggression. We can lay with him on his bed
and pet his belly. During a recent thunderstorm, he tolerated the thunder and even curled up on the stair landing with my older greyhound Shep (who is
scared of storms) and Josh kept Shep company. This guy gets very excited for meal time and when we come home, there is lots of tail wagging!
Could you ask for anything more? And, it's only been 2 weeks! We Just adore Josh and you will too.
Josh could pretty much live anywhere. He is a nice sized male-not too big, not too small. We are doing a good job trying to put a little weight on this guy.
He does enjoy the company of my female greyhound so I think he would make a greyt ,easy addition if you have other greys.
How can you resist his sweet face?
