BBR Half Off is an adorable tiny girl who is cute as a button. She is very friendly and loves attention. She is a lover and tried to climb into our laps--how cute. She was described by the folks in Florida as "very outgoing and cute!" She is 3 years old. Loves people but does not like cats.
Foster Update: Aug. 2010
Bee-Bee has only been with us four days now but she is doing so well, I
believe it time to spread the word about this wonderful girl; this way she
can go to her permanent home as soon as possible. First I must highly
recommend her to any family with children. She is absolutely attached at
the hip to my 11 year-old daughter. With an 11 year-old and a 13
year-old, we have children constantly coming and going from our home. After
a friendly greeting at the door, Bee-Bee returns to her bed totally unfazed
by the chaos that comes with a houseful of kids.
As far as housebreaking goes, she had two days of close supervision and had no accidents.
She is now allowed to roam the house with our other five dogs; when it's time to go
out, she immediately does her "business," then runs up the back stairs to
our rear door and lets us know that she wants to come back inside.
She has no problems navigating our outdoor stairs but does have to be coached to come down our indoor, very slippery, wooden stairs.
She walks nicely on leash but is interested in all of the little animals.
This girl is a catch!
Foster Update:
Just wanted to let you know some more things about this beautiful girl. She
is so curious - she smells all of the flowers in our yard, she was ever so
curious to follow a frog until he safely hopped under the fence, she loves -
loves - loves squeaky toys - we are trying to teach her to fetch but for now
I throw it and she runs to get it and runs with it in her mouth playfully,
seems to enjoy being brushed, when coming in from the yard after the rain
she did not mind getting her paws wiped, going up and down the steps really
well, she even ventured upstairs to her crate without any coaxing, gets
along well with the Italian greys - she even seemed concerned for our little
girl Gigi who was not feeling so well after her dental cleaning and
extractions. Tonight she ate with the pack - no issues at all. Still
can't get her to like the cat - really curious? Right now she is laying on
the study floor with Angus, our collie. She is getting more and more
playful each day. She is really a sweetheart. Loves to have her belly
rubbed, face rubbed, adjusting to retirement really well. Unfortunately,
because of the rain here were unable to go for our evening walk, try for a
morning walk before the temps rise too much. She is beautiful and has a
personality to match!
