Gateway Lenny is a gorgeous and striking looking boy--just look at that striking face. He is calm and slightly reserved at first but warms up quickly. He is just a nice, nice boy who we all really liked and enjoyed working with him. He is just an adorable boy who will blossom in a home. Lenny is a brother to Gateway Ted--another gorgeous and sweet boy!! Lenny's pictures do not do this striking boy justice. Lenny is 3 years old. Cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update:
Lenny came to our house on Saturday after a calm, quiet two-hour car ride. He enjoyed meeting our three greys (two females and a male) and has fit right in. With close supervision, Lenny hasn't had one accident in the house and even went to the door to "Go Out" yesterday and every time since then! Smart boy.
He did well on a long country walk. It was fun to watch his reaction when he got out of the back of a Mini Cooper and saw the surroundings; tall green trees and dirt road. He listened to the birds and water rushing in the nearby creek, and cars rumbling over the wooden covered bridge with no fear. Ears up, eyes wide he was eager to see what it was all about. Pretty soon, he was walking shoulder to shoulder with the others, not even pulling me into the creek when they all decided a cool dip was in order. The two horses we came upon didn't concern him a bit.
This is a special, alert, smart and beautiful boy who's adapting well to "real" life. He play-bowed to us this morning, adorable. Lenny will be a wonderful addition to your home.
