Verdi recently arrived to GFNJ from Portugal, and we are so happy to have him in our family.  Verdi is in a foster home and adjusting very well with the greyhounds in the home.  Verdi was in one of the overcrowded shelters in the Azores, Portugal for a long time.  According to the shelter folks "he is very wise and respectful with other dogs. He is sweet and good with people."  Verdi is three years old and weighs about 40 pounds.
