About Hazel-Wadi

  • Status: Available for Adoption (adoption info)
  • Species: Dog
  • Color: Fawn and White

Hazel recently arrived from Oman and is a Wadi dog. Wadi dogs are from the wadis (dry riverbeds) of Oman.  They are typically stray dogs that live in groups and are generally non-aggressive survivors who avoid police interdiction. They are believed to be a mix of Saluki and other sighthound types. Hazel is a beautiful girl who was rescued with her brother Mason when they were just 8 weeks old with her mother, Sienna and 8 other siblings.  Hazel is striking in appearance and mid-sized--not too big and not too small.  She is reserved at first with new surroundings but does warm up.   According to her caregivers in Oman she is great with other dogs and cats.    Hazel is 2 years old.
