Daily Rush is a gorgeous girl who is a real tail wagger. She is friendly, sweet and playful but not overbearing. She seems to be a fun girl. This girl is 2 years old. She is cat workable in that she could be directed away from the cat. Check out the adorable ears on this great girl.
Foster Update 12/13/2009
Just wanted to give you an update on Daily Rush ("Dee"). What a sweet girl! All you have to do is look at her or talk to her to get her tail wagging. She's very happy and playful. She's also been enjoying checking out all the things that are new to her in the house -- she's very inquisitive (but not troublesome). She gets along very well with our other two pups, and has fit in quite well. Dee mastered the stairs within a day and was terrific on the leash her first time out. And did I mention her floppy ears and curly tail???!!! So darn cute. This little girl is a gem :)
Foster Update 1/11/2010:Dee is doing great. She's a happy little girl, and just a sweetheart all around. She's very playful (LOVES her toys), and is always looking for someone to scratch her ears or give her a treat (such a piglet for a little girl!). So far, she's done great with learning about life at the house, and walks terrifically on a leash, especially if we're walking her when the school bus arrives in the afternoon -- she gets soooo happy when she sees the neighborhood kids. She fits in well with our pack - she's not an alpha or dominant by any means - but she can be quick to defend what is hers (mainly treats) and is getting better as we work on it with her. She's definitely responsive though, and a smart little cookie. All in all though, she's just the cutest, sweetest little peanut, and I can't imagine that anyone wouldn't fall in love with her the moment they meet her :)
Foster Update 3/17/2010:
Dee is doing really well -- I'll wholeheartedly admit that I'm going to cry like a baby when she goes to her forever home. What a sweetheart :) All this little girl wants is to snuggle and be loved. She's happiest when she can be curled up next to you with her head in your lap, and if you give her scratches and attention, she's your friend for life :) Dee gets along very well with Jersey and Riley (our two greys), but I think she needs more than what she gets at our house - with us both working all day and having to share the attention with 2 others. She crates very well while we're gone, though. All the dogs get Kongs filled with peanut butter when we leave (and ONLY when we leave), and Dee LOVES it -- she knows our routine in the morning, and as soon as she sees the Kongs after coming inside from doing her 'business', she runs right into her crate to wait for her treat!
Dee is just a real love bug and mellow dog overall. She can be very inquisitive and playful, but never in an overbearing manner. She loves everyone she meets, especially children. She has wonderful manners too - yes, she loves food and will get curious about what you're eating (and treats!), but when I'm in the kitchen getting dinner ready, she just lays on the rug behind me, happy to be nearby and never getting into anything. I just can't say enough about Dee, she is a wonderful girl, and a joy to have as a foster.
