Just Handy is a very sweet boy who was recently returned. It was reported that he does best with another greyhound but basically has no issues and crates nicely. He is 4 years old and in our prison program where is is doing very well.  No cats, please.

Prison Inmate Foster Update:

My dog "Just Handy" is a well-behaved dog.  During the time I spend with him in

my room and walking him, he has alwys been a good listener.  In the beginning he

was a little reserved and scared but eventually he got to know me and loosened up.

He does not have accidents in the room and will always wait patiently for his walk. He also likes to be rubbed and petted."

Prison Foster Inmate Update #2 9/2010:

"Just Handy is a well-trained, behaved greyhound.  In the time I've spent with him I come to learn that he likes attention, as well as rub downs.  Handy doesn't like a lot of loud noises but likes people and he is a people dog.  He eats well and he is "toilet trained."

Just Handy is a gorgeous boy.  He is calm and very nice. He is a striking boy who is an outgoing big guy with a big personality. He is confident, but not crazy--polite and nice.

Just Handy is 3 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.

Meet & Greet PBurg Mall 9/25/2010:

Just Handy - this is one drop-dead gorgeous brindle boy with a personality to match. Laid back and a big mush. Truthfully - this dog's tail never quit wagging!!  You just LOOKED at him, and he would start wagging his tail!  We all loved it. Handy laid on his back and cuddled with his head in the volunteer's lap so he could get his belly rubbed.  I can't believe this boy is even still available with his outstanding looks and super nice personality.  Thank you to the prison inmate who has this dog's coat in top shape - Handy's coat just GLEAMS and it felt so good to hug him!
