Adoption Pending BF Wigwam is a pretty little girl who needs some TLC to shine like the gorgeous black girl she is. She stood patiently while we brushed her and leaned in for the love. This girl will steal your heart in seconds. She walks nicely on leash. This little girl is 2 years old. Cat tolerant with supervision. Foster Update 10/8/2009: Wigwam or Iggy as we call her came to us a little timid. She is making great progress in adjusting to the sights & sounds of home life and has become much more comfortable with being away from people than she was initially. She loves when her people get home & greets us with a very happy tail. She has even learned to come up & politely ask for a pet.
Like all greyhounds, she has learned to appreciate a nice comfy dog bed & likes to collect her stuffed toys & keep them with her on her bed. She is very proud of the fact that she can go up & down the stairs now & will even go upstairs to her fancy dog bed for afternoon naps with one of her toys, of course. She walks well on the lead but is still adjusting to all the sights & sounds of street traffic. She behaves very well in the car & is very gentle with her 3 smaller foster dogs. "
