Mika 2 recently arrived from Puerto Rico along with her mother, Muka. Mika is about 10 months old and just plain adorable. She is sweet and friendly. According to the Punta Santiago rescue folks she was in a foster home with her mom and brother and gets along with dogs, cats and kids."  

Mika 2 is a Sato dog which is a street or beach dog from Puerto Rico. The Sato refers to a variety of small to medium-sized stray dog.  Satos are similar in appearance to small Pointers or Terriers. These free-ranging dogs are known to make excellent family pets. Unlike other feral dogs, the Satos have a small territory, and many are always in contact with people.
