Diamond Mine is such a sweet girl. She was returned as she really needs to be in the company of at least one other greyhound. She has gone back to her foster family and is doing just fine again. She is friendly and very personable with a tail that wags and wags. She came to us with a broken leg that had not been repaired. She had surgery by our orthopedist and is doing great. This 2 year old is cat tolerant and is in a foster home with a cat and other greyhounds.
Her ears are no longer brown--it might have been a bleach thing. She is a stunning girl with a coat that shines like patent leather.
Foster Update March 21, 2010:
Diamond has been with us since September when she had surgery to repair a broken leg that she sustained while racing. Despite all she has been through, she is the sweetest girl, greeting us when we come hope and just happy about everything. She gets along well with her foster brothers, especially Bayou Crown Royal who she plays with. Diamond has a coat that is so silky you can't help but pet and hug her. She loves to entertain herself by diving on her stuffies and tossing them in the air and then relaxes on her back with her legs in the air. What a beautiful girl, a great addition to any family looking for another grey.
