Tessie is a beautiful girl who we recently welcomed from Puerto Rico.  She is a Sato dog which is a type of street dog. The Sato refers to a small to medium-sized stray dog. Satos are often similar in appearance to a small Pointer or Terrier.  These free-ranged dogs are known to make excellent family pets. Unlike other "feral" dogs, the Satos have a small territory, and many are always in contact with humans.

Tessie has a luxurious coat that is soft, shiny and silky. She is very friendly and sweet. The caregivers in Puerto Rico described her as being very good with people and dogs. She was rescued from the beach and is one lucky girl.  Tessie is about 2 to 3 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.    Her adoption fee is $500.
