Dexter was recently placed into a foster home as his devoted adopter passed away. According to a family member, Dexter was loved by his adopter. Unfortunately, they are not able to keep him in the family and reluctantly returned him.  This boy needs a break where he can live, continue to be loved and grow old. He might do best without small animals.  He is approximately 3 or 4 years old (his tattoos are totally unreadable).

Dexter was recently relinquished. He is a sweet, friendly boy who would do best with an experienced adopter. He is at the kennel and the kennel owner loves him and said that he has been perfect and has been a joy to interact with.

Dexter is a big, gentle giant who is just stunning. He impressed all of the volunteers. He is one of those big "mooshie" boys. He is calm, friendly, sweet, gentle--did I say "sweet". He loves to be petted and seemed to enjoy all of his new experiences and new life in NJ. Dexter is cat tolerant with supervision.
