Sookie is one of the little sweeties rescued from the meat trade in China. She is a happy, friendly, bundle of joy who just wants to be loved. Its heartwarming to see how happy and resilient dogs like Sookie can be. Sookie is a whippet sized girl at only about 27 pounds. Although she loves people, no cats, please. She will be 2 years old in May. The adoption fee for Sookie and the China dogs is $750 to help to defray the very high cost of travel for these deserving dogs. It is required that she be walked with a "Harness Lead" in order to minimize the chance of escape for this little peanut.
