Duke was recently relinquished because he just wasn't the right dog for the family. He is back in the Prison Foster Program and doing great but waiting for his forever home.
Duke is looking for his forever home. 

He would like a nice fenced in yard to run and romp, Duke loves the outdoors.  Duke loves his people, he just needs time to get used to new people and surroundings.

Duke is a hound mix who was at a shelter in the South and so impressed the staff that they put out an urgent plea for rescue before he was PTS the very next day. How could we say "no" to such a sweet boy who deserves a good life just like so many? He arrived at GFNJ with Winston and both are acclimating just fine. We got the request to take Duke right before Christmas and the shelter staff called it a "Christmas Miracle" that both Winston and Duke were rescued.
