Hi everyone,
My name is Messi and I'm an energetic 5-year-old male Siberian Husky who is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, housebroken, and very healthy.
My mommy Sasa rescued me from a horrible backyard breeder in Qatar who left me in his yard in August to cook to death when I was only 3 months old. Mommy was actually terrified of dogs before she met me but couldn't bear the thought of me being tortured by the breeder, so she gathered all her courage, picked me up, and brought me in the car with her. Because of my gentle nature, my mommy is no longer afraid of dogs to the point where she now rescues lots of other doggies who are being hurt by bad people.
I love children, dogs, and cats - you can see just how gentle I am in the videos of me cudding with puppies and kittens. Some of the dogs and cats my mommy rescues are antisocial, so I teach them how to be friendly with other animals.
I love long walks, going to the beach, and especially RUNNING!!!! The only problem is that I can't be let off the leash because I just run and run and run and run and run and mommy gets scared because it's hard to catch me. I need to be adopted by someone with a fenced in yard or someone who will take me to a fenced in dog park every day, so I can run off leash.
My mommy has been trying to leave Qatar with me and my doggie sister Juana for the longest time but because she's Syrian, no other country will give her a visa. To make matters worse, mommy lost her job 4 months ago, so we're about to lose our housing.
Mommy knows I don't belong in the desert and she's been trying so hard to move to a colder climate with me but it just isn't working out. She loves me to the moon and back and even has a tattoo of me on her arm, but sadly she knows it's in my best interest to leave her and Juana so I can be in a cold climate. I need to run but can't do that in a desert climate. Mommy has to keep me in the air conditioned house most of the day.
My mommy said that whoever adopts me would need to send her updates about me on a regular basis because I'm her special baby and it's breaking her heart to let me go even though she knows it's best for me.
