About Max

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Color: Black

Max is a stunning looking boy. He is a Wadi street dog who was rescued by the folks at t Muscat Rescue in Oman. He lived with Chimba in a home in Oman with expats. When they left to return to their country, they left Max and Chimba behind to fend for themselves. Max is friendly and affectionate with no real issues. He has the cutest curly tail that never stops wagging. He is good with other dogs and people. Max is cat tolerant with supervision. He is approximately 5 years old. His adoption fee is $500 due to the high cost of travel.

Foster Update 12/1/2019

Dear Santa,
All I want for Christmas is a family of my very own.  It is a dream I have had since a tiny little puppy.  I try all the time to be a very, very good dog and getting better every day!

My foster parents say I truly deserve my wish and suggested I write to you.

I love walks, eat up all my food (even the veggies), always 'go' outside, come when called, sit, paw, love toys and bones, sleep in my bed all night and much more.  It's really wonderful here but my fosters understand why I wish for you to bring me my very own person(s).

If you can get them on your sleigh or just let them know where I am waiting, my every wish will have come true and I promise to make them proud of me.

 Love,    Max

Foster Update  11/1/2019

What's in a name?  Max cute; Max sweet; Max silly; Max smart.  He may not be a greyhound but what a Great companion!
Max loves any attention and all pets, works hard to please, is fully housebroken and responds immediately to 'No' for anything he
encounters for the first time and waits for more direction.  He already knows sit, paw, back and wait with little or no prompting.  Walks
are becoming a favorite and expanding his experiences now he has absorbed so many other new challenges.  He sleeps all night with
us and our three greyhounds and three cats.  He also shows no food aggression, waiting for his turn whether meals or treats.
Max's Love of Life is clearly displayed in his adorable prance as well as his joy of everyone he meets with an enthusiastic curly tail wag.
He has so very much to teach us!
