Goldie is a beautiful fawn girl who just turned 7 this May.  Goldie was returned due to her owners illness and through no fault of her own.  Goldie lived with a greyhound companion who passed away a few months back and she has become a little withdrawn.  She is adjusting to our home with 4 greyhounds.  Goldie is housebroken, has mastered the stairs, and she likes to “talk”.  She loves to run and play in our dog yard and she will “go” on concrete.  A big plus if you like to travel and can’t always find grass! She is cat tolerant with supervision.

 Goldie is a real sweetheart and just needs that perfect home.  She would do better living with another canine companion.

Foster Update 6/23/2009
Goldie walks very well on a leash and she enjoys playing with her toys and chewing on bones.  While I still feel that she would benefit from having another canine companion, too many companions seem to overwhelm her.   Overall, she really is a sweet girl, a little on the shy side at first.  True to Greyhound personality, once she warms up to you, she just wants to be with you and follow you around the house.  It only took her a few days to learn our daily routine and she has fit in well.  Monday’s thru Thursday’s we are out of the house 9 hours and she has been ok with that.
