Floppy is not a greyhound but she sure is an adorable little hound who is about a year and a half. She was in a kill shelter in North Carolina when we received a call to see if we could rescue this sweet girl ASAP. She had a broken leg which needed treatment. How could we ignore that sweet face and the pleas of the hard-working and well-meaning shelter workers in N.C.  We received her on April 13 and it was obvious that her leg needed immediate attention. She was evaluated at NorthStar Vets and had surgery to repair her leg which was quite successful. She is almost ready for adoption and is quite the hit with the inmates who care for her in the Prison Foster Program. Won't you consider the little girl who loves people and would love a lap.
