About ET

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Color: Blue Brindle and White
ET was recently relinquished due to his need to be with another greyhound.  The family loved him but sometimes a greyhound also needs to be with another.

FOSTER UPDATE
The first thing you notice about ET (Pat C E Time) is how strikingly beautiful he is. Born December 6, 2015 he’s a true sweetheart. He is  very affectionate and thrives on the company of another greyhound to experience life with. That said, he will do well in a home with at least one other greyhound. Here’s what you need to know about ET:

  • Quite affectionate and very gentle.
  • Sleeps through the night.
  • He gets along really well with our greyhound.
  • Does well with our dog-friendly kids, ages 13 and 17.
  • Eats well; has shown no food aggression.
  • Has demonstrates no space aggression.
  • Travels well in the car.
  • Walks beautifully on a leash.
  • Has mastered the stairs and all the wood/tile/laminate flooring in our home.
  • Will make a fantastic “ambassadog”––he is sociable.

What to take into consideration:
  • ET is too interested in cats to live in a home with one.
  • He feels secure with another greyhound that exudes confidence. It’s clear that he is not an alpha and needs the leadership of a confident greyhound to feel grounded.
  • ET will do well with an adopter who is also a leader. ET is finely tuned into that vibe. When he believes in the strength of his leader, he relaxes and “lets his hair down” as he feels more secure.

ET has a warm spirit that sets of tone of calm. He is eager to please and is blossoming into a wonderful dog. He will be completely dedicated to the adopter who brings him home.

Original posting

Pat C E Time whose call name is "ET" is a striking boy. He is super sweet, calm and friendly. He loves attention and seeks it but is nokikit pushy. Its hard not to pay attention to him because he is just so sweet, and a very handsome, tall drink of water. He is one of those "mooshie" boys that we love.  He loves to be petted and just melts. He smiles and the volunteers today described him as a "love bug".  This love bug is 2 years old
