Bruce is a recent arrival from Galgos del Sol in Spain. We believe that he is a greyhound rather then a galgo, although he is on the smaller side. A happy, sweet, affectionate boy, Bruce loves everyone and in turn expects everyone to love him. Bruce is a player - he loves to play with other dogs as well as toys. He is learning the ropes on living in a house - we are working on counter surfing. Bruce is house broken, is a good eater, does the stairs and, like any greyhound, loves to nap. Although it was initially thought that Bruce was only 1 year old, we believe that he may be older then that.
FOSTER UPDATE
Bruce arrived from Spain in March with 2 friends who have already been adopted. Bruce is a fun boy with a lovely personality - he loves everyone and just wants to be loved. If he could, he would worm his way onto your lap every chance he has. He's the type of dog that when you stand next to him you suddenly feel a lick on your hand and it's Bruce saying hello. Playing is important to Bruce and he needs a yard to run around in and many stuffie toys to dissect. He gets along well with other dogs and although he is a greyhound, he plays more like a galgo. If you are interested in this boy, please contact Linda Lyman.
The adoption fee to adopt a Galgo or a Spanish Greyhound from GFNJ is $500 which only partially defrays the cost of transportation and vetting expenses.
