Buff, the black and white galgo is listed as 3-4 years old. He is very sweet and loves to play with toys and other dogs. With a harness, he walks well but has a stubborn streak in that he will stop and sit down in the middle of the street:-)  He will bark and whine when he sees other dogs on walks and then will kiss them on the snout. He likes to run around the yard and enjoys the company of another dog.  He seems fine with kids of all ages but can get a little mouthy at times. Buff tested cat workable but my cats haven't had much interaction yet, so I cannot verify that. He is fine with my two senior male greys and shows them the respect they deserve.

General Requirements and information to adopt

Galgos are a different breed from racing greyhounds and as such can be more energetic. 
 
 **They can jump and climb and we do require a minimum of a 6 foot fence for any Galgo that we adopt.

They are generally very sweet and very cute.
They usually require the company of another greyhound or dog.

 The adoption fee to adopt a Galgo from GFNJ is $500 which only partially defrays the cost of transportation and vetting expenses.
