VIP Songbird is a pretty, petite girl. She is very sweet and endearing. She is a little reserved at first but comes around and warms up. She then loves affection and attention. She may do best with another greyhound to give her some confidence and companionship. Songbird is 2 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update 3/22/2018:
Oh, my what a sweet and funny girl!!  She does take a few days to be comfortable but once she is she just enjoys life and her routine. She gets along great with my other greyhounds and blends right in with them. She loves to eat and has a funny bark- bark when I am getting their food ready--she was aptly named "Songbird"!!  She wants to please and looks to me and the other dogs for direction. She needs a fenced yard as street noises do scare her and she would need to work up to them.  She is a joy to have as a foster and will make a great companion to someone with another grey or two or three and just want to add a sweet little girl who loves to be petted and have her belly rubbed.
Foster Update 2/28/2018
Songbird is doing very well and had a nice excursion to Gettysburg over the weekend. She hung out with other greys, galgos, a lurcher and a small terrier, as well as their people, and is getting more comfortable. Although she gets a little nervous on walks if there is a lot of traffic, overall she does well on the leash and doesn't pull. She is fine with the cats, is actually a little intimidated by them and has become quite relaxed in the house. She does the steps just fine, taught herself, and spends the night on a dog bed in our room, sleeping through the night without any accidents. I do think she would be better in a home with another dog and probably better without small children as too much commotion gets her upset.
