PJ Criminal Mind who is called "Spencer" was recently returned as it just was not a good match. He is back with GFNJ and doing great. He is a sweet boy who is quite affectinate and loves attention.
Because he has such a zest for life, he needs to be in an adult home or with older children. He does not do well with squeeky toys which get him too excited--other than that he is a sweet boy.

Former Foster Update 2/23/2017
PJ Criminal Mind, call name "Billy," was born October 16, 2012. If you're looking for a stunning, big, and cuddly boy, Billy is the greyhound to consider. We're so excited to be fostering him! Here's what you need to know about this gem of a hound:
- He loves life! He is an incredibly happy dog and this zest is contagious.
- Very affectionate; he is a true lover that enjoys being with the people in his foster home and getting petted and snuggled.
- Crates well while we are at work/school.
- Listens well and is very eager to please.
- Gets along with our two male greyhounds (a goofy 8-year-old and a 13-year-old elder statesman).
- Does well with our dog-friendly kids, ages 11 and 15. We do not recommend him for small children only because, when he is extra happy, he doesn't realize his size and may knock down smaller children by bumping into them or pushing past them.
- Is curious about our cats but, other than watching them, has been very good with them.
- Knows the stairs and is adept at walking on our wood/tile/laminate flooring (the stairs are carpeted).
- Eats well; has shown no food aggression.
- Has not shown any space aggression.
- Travels well in the car.
- Is a gentleman on the leash -- one of the easiest dogs we've ever had on a lead.
- Will make a fantastic “ambassadog” for greyhound adoption as he has good manners and is happy to meet people.
- Has not had any accidents in the house.
- GFNJ fosters are not allowed on furniture; Billy missed the memo ... a few times, we've found him on the couch and one time he was on our bed. He corrected well whenever told to get down. If adopted by someone who does not like dog's on furniture, correcting may need to continue.
We adore Billy. He's one of those big, sweet boys that loves to be with people. He will bring joy to the home he is adopted into.
