Clancy (racing name Firing Squad and call name Billy) was returned as he needed medical care beyond what his adopter could handle. Clancy has since been medically cleared and he is a healthy, wonderfully amazing dog. If you are looking for a companion, a gentle spirit, a simply overall great boy, then Clancy is the boy for you. He gets along well with the other dogs in the house, is housebroken, listens well, loves to be petted and is a good eater. He just turned 3 years old in March. He was previously in a foster home with several cats which he ignored in the foster home.

Firing Squad whose racing call name is "Billy" is a gorgeous boy. He is happy, friendly and loves attention but he is not pushy. This affectionate boy is another one of those "mooshie" boys that we have come to love. The folks in Florida described him as "a handsome boy who is quietly friendly." Billy is 2 years old and is cat workable to tolerant in that he was curious about the cat but could be corrected and directed away from the cat.
Foster Update 9/14/2016
Billy (now Clancey) has a gorgeous black coat. He is quite stunning and statuesque; his coat shimmers. And to match the good looks, Billy has a warm personality and is full of charm.
- No accidents in the house.
- He eats well and has shown no food aggression.
- He has not exhibited space aggression.
- He sleeps all night on a dog bed in our bedroom.
- He gets along with our two greyhounds and a foster greyhound. Our hounds are both males; one is a suave and sophisticated older gentleman. The other is an 8-year-old goof ball. Our other foster is a 4-year-old female.
- Walks beautifully on a leash.
- Rides well in the car.
- Does well with our dog-friendly children, ages 11 and 15.
- Ignores our three cats.
- Can go up the stairs on his own and is learning to walk down; we know he'll master this shortly.
- Walks well on our wood, tile, and laminate flooring.
- Crates well while we are at work.
- While he is young, he is calm and gentle.
- Confident without being an alpha.
- Eager to please.
Billy is a very sweet, mushy boy and we are very much enjoying his time with us. With a twinkle in his eye, he will devote himself to his adopter. He will fill his forever home with love.
