Daring Deception whose track call name was "Darren" is one very handsome boy with his speckled body. He is friendly but not pushy.  He enjoys attention and was quick to cuddle with the volunteers.  He is one of those "mooshie" boys that we love. He also walks nicely on leash. Darren is 3 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.

There's nothing deceiving about Daring Deception, also known as Darren. He is as well mannered and loving as he is handsome.

Born April 13, 2013, he has a unique and stunning white coat marked by light brown specs. He has a happy-go-lucky personality and is quite laid back. He does enjoy playing in our fenced yard with other greyhounds––he seems to enjoy his sleeping time (which is most of the time) even more. He can often be found lounging about the house on any given dog bed––and with all four feet in the air.

Here's what you need to know about Darren:

- Aside from one marking when he first got into our home (the first time he was ever in a house), he has had no accidents in the house.

- He eats well and has shown no food aggression.

- He has not exhibited space aggression.

- He sleeps all night on a dog bed in our bedroom (a baby gate keeps him from wandering out of our bedroom).

- He gets along with our two greyhounds and a foster greyhound. Our hounds are both males; one is a suave and sophisticated older gentleman. The other is an 8-year-old goof ball.  Our other foster is a 4-year-old female; she's very quiet.

- Have leash or car, will travel. He walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys our walks. He does well in the car. If you turn on music, he just may sing along. No kidding. One time, he howled along to a song on the car radio.

- Darren does well with our dog-friendly children, ages 11 and 15.

- We have three cats. Darren is learning not to look at them or approach them and easily corrects with the shake of a water spray bottle.

- Learned, and is now champion, of the stairs.

- Walks well on our wood, tile, and laminate flooring.

- Crates well while we are at work.

Darren is a charming boy. He has a real love of life and shows us how happy he is whenever he wags his tail. The only time it isn't wagging is when he's asleep. He is confident without being an alpha and has fallen right into the routine of our busy home by following our lead and the lead of our dogs. We are absolutely smitten with him. Because he is so easy going, he would make a good first dog or greyhound, though experienced greyhound people would fall in love with him, too. He truly is a fabulous greyhound ambassador as he likes meeting new people and isn't shy about welcoming their pettings.
