Joy is a hound mix--probably some Treeing Walker Hound--who was turned into a shelter in NC by an elderly man who could no longer care for her and was disabled. She was well cared for and was healthy looking when she was turned in. She was very confused at her new surroundings in the shelter. She is a beautiful, stunning girl.  She is very friendly and gets along with dogs and cats with supervision. She was out of time at the shelter and we could not say "no" to giving her a second chance.  Joy is about 6 years old.
