Orignial Posting
KB's Mini Queen whose call name is "Minnie" is an adorable little girl. Her pictures don't do her justice as it was hard to get a good shot of her pretty face in the rain. She is friendly and happy as she looks right into your eyes in the most appealing way. She walks nicely on leash. Minnie is 2 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update
Mini Queen (Mini) is a gorgeous, young cowgirl, born January 4, 2014 – she’s just coming into adulthood. She is one happy greyhound who loves her dog toys and to play with our greyhounds in our backyard.
· Mini is good with our three highly active cats (Bengals). She will watch them and their antics. On the occasions when she’s approached them to get a closer look or sniff, she is easily corrected. That said, in another home with four cats, it was reported that she was interested in interacting with two of them.
· She is very active, for a greyhound, that is. She has a playful spirit and energy befitting a greyhound so young. She would love a fenced-in yard, though long, daily walks may also serve as a great outlet for her energy.
· Would enjoy a home with another greyhound or dog of similar size – she thinks playmates are awesome.
· Is good with our kids, ages 10 and 14; due to her energy level, she may not be a good fit for small children.
· Gets along with our two greyhounds.
· Is highly affectionate.
· Eats well; has shown no food aggression.
· Rides well in the car.
· Mastered the stairs and is becoming adept at walking on our wood, tile, and laminate flooring.
· Loves to play and run in our fenced-in backyard.
· Corrects well and learns quickly; she is curious, often exploring new things with great interest.
· Walks well on a leash.
· Crates well while we are at work.
· Sleeps through the night on a dog bed next to our bed.
· Has had no accidents in the house.
Overall, Mini is an adorable girl and we are truly enjoying her company. She has a refreshing and exuberant spirit and truly loves life. The home that adopts her will welcome Mini’s zeal and charm. She is a bright light that will make you smile. She’ll welcome your hugs and will hug you back. Mini is a precious, sweet girl who will bring with her an abundance of love and joy.
