Kup's Amy's Gold is the cutest little girl at only 56 pounds. We have been trying to get her to GFNJ for several hauls now but she always missed the haul (through no fault of her own). She's finally here and we are delighted to welcome her although she thought the -2 degrees to be a little extreme. She is a super happy girl whose tail never stopped wagging even during her nice warm spa bath. She's very friendly and gives kisses and snuggles under your armpit--how cute! This cutie is 2 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update f2/13/2014
Amy is quite the social butterfly and approaches new situations with enthusiasm. She even goes
to work with me often, is very well behaved and enjoys all the extra attention she gets these days.
She is completely housebroken (despite her distain for the weather) and her newly learned manners both in the kitchen/dining room and door control are very good, requiring a mere reminder occasionally at this point.
She is a real "people" dog which makes me feel she would also do well as an 'only pet.' If given the choice, she will follow the person rather than the other dogs, despite the fun she shares with them.
Like I said, she is truly the social butterfly, enjoying any kind of attention regardless of source.
Whoever adopts this beautiful, petite little girl should expect a devoted, loving friend forever by
their side, smiling all the way!
Foster Update 1/12/2014
Amy has been with us for 1 week and she is such an adorable, loving, cuddly little girl. Her
coat shines and she gives kisses and smiles freely. Amy has no fears or aggressions, walks
on leash well, goes up and down steps like a champ, loves squeaky toys and bones and knows
commands come, sit, off, lay down and no already (what a smart girl).
Amy has lots of energy and wants to know everything going on around her. While she can be
directed away from the cats, her playfulness and curiosity is sometimes overwhelming and
would do better without cats or very small children
She has endless love and loyalty for the lucky person(s) to become her forever family.
