Boomer is a very good boy who was returned as it just wasn’t the “right fit” for him in his adoptive home.  Boomer likes other greyhounds, and needs to have other dogs around him to feel comfortable.  Although he likes to interact with people, he is not a dog who needs/wants to be fawned over – he likes his space.  Boomer will come to you when he wants a pet, and his new owner needs to understand this part of his personality. Boomer is house trained, listens when called, is a good eater, and has done very well at several Meet & Greets.  Boomer has a dental scheduled but other than that he is in great health.  He is 3 yers old.

Sheriff Hoeboom whose call name is "Boomer" is absolutely one striking boy in looks and in personality. He's a big lover who's very friendly. He walks nicely on leash and gives kisses--how cute. Thiis boy just turned 3 in July.  Although he likes people, no cats, please.

Foster Update 8/5/2011

Boomer is a very friendly, happy guy who gives lots of kisses and loves to be around people. He learned the stairs very quickly and is doing well with housebreaking. Boomer does well in his crate when we are not home. He gets along well with our two greyhounds and is learning house manners. He likes to play with toys and is always so happy to see us when we come home

The Sheriff is in town and he is turning heads! Boomer is a great guy who is so handsome and affectionate. He loves people and attention and will come to you to get some. He has learned so much already and is eager to learn more. He is calm and well behaved, completely housebroken, and a pleasure to be around. He likes being groomed and is very cooperative when getting his nails cut and his teeth brushed. Boomer has learned to sit for treats and to wait his turn. He loves going for walks alone or with his foster brothers. He is a great eater, and even enjoys some fruits and vegetables. No cats or small dogs for him, but he loves other greyhounds.
