Rido's Foxfire whose call name is "Fonner" is a very handsome and friendly boy. He's not overbearing and interacted in a nice, calm way. He's got a very pretty face that just grabs your attention. He's affectionate and tried to kiss me. Foxfire will be 5 in May--a perfect age for a perfect gentleman. He's cat workable in that he could be directed and corrected away from the cat but would do best without a cat.
Foster Update 5/24/2011
Hi my call name is Fonner. I am way more handsome that my pictures look. I was just a little shy on the day I arrived at the GFNJ kennel. My foster mom said that I am a very, very handsome boy and that it is quite possible that I am "the" most handsome boy she has ever seen. She said that I have a greyt personality as well but that I need time to realize that I am retired, is that what they call this? I sleep in my crate and don't whine - I thought only girls do that! I walk really well on a leash when we go out for our evening stroll and if my foster mom stops to chat with the neighbors I wait patiently until she finishes. She said she wishes she could teach her human children to behave as well! I do get along well with both large and small dogs and children as well. I do not show any food aggression. I didn't know that I can't sniff at the counters but she corrects me with that "no" word and I know (no pun intended) not to do it again. I absolutely adore lounging on the back deck relaxing when it is not too hot out and I love to run around with my toys. See you soon - kisses, Fonner.
Foster Update June 1, 2011:
This boy greyt! He is quite the gentle-man. He is well mannered, knows his indoor manners, gentle, affectionate, give lots of love kisses, enjoys playing with his toys and humans in the yard. He is very happy to lounge at your feet and be your new best friend. He gets along with small and large dogs and children too! He is crate trained and, of course, potty trained.
