WHAT A NICE BOY

Submariner Al is a gorgeous dark brindle boy who is just a sweet as he is handsome.  He has a beautiful face that is soft and gentle. He is slightly reserved at first but warms up easily and quickly will leans on whoever is close to him. He walks nicely on leash, is quiet and, did I say, sweet.  He just needs some TLC. This boy just turned 4 in October. Cat tolerant with supervision.

Foster Update 11/9/2009

 "Big Al" is doing great!  He is such a gentleman, and very laid-back and quiet.  He loves attention, and being near us (more so than being near the other dogs).  It took him a few days to get used to the stairs (and he's a big one to assist up and down!), but he's now doing it (awkwardly) on his own - and in a bilevel he has no choice but to go up and down multiple times a day :)  He hasn't really taken an interest in toys, but now that he's settling in, his personality is starting to emerge little by little - so he may pick them up yet.  He is a little apprehensive about all the new situations he's encountering in rapid succession (which might be why he lags on leash walks, but he doesn't seem nervous at all).  He is an all around nice boy.
